Vescrutia orbits a binary star system that takes many twists as it follows the twin stars, Xiphis and Solaris, through space. This bathes the planet in a wondrous amount of celestial energy. Subsequently, the forms of life that have developed are infinitely wondrous. This encyclopedia encompasses but a small slice of all creation possible on Vescrutia, with more being discovered all the time.

The only thing that separates Vescrutia from any other planet with life is its abundance of an energy called Naten. It exists in all things, propels life from infinitessimally small to immeasurably complex. Because of that, the Vescrutian physiology is sensitive to it and it plays an integral role in the development of all creation, flora, fauna, and person.
