Chief Officer Kilkax Ildun (a.k.a. The Firehand)

Representing The Nation of Stanster's Military in the Chief Office, the Dragonborn Kilkax Ildun was once an admiral in the Stansterite Navy. Ildun is Verur's foremost expert in naval warfare and continues to actively fight on the front lines despite losing his left arm several years ago. Seeking to turn his injury into a strength, Kilkax petitioned The Nation of Otem to provide a smith capable of fashioning a prosthetic arm. Presented with several options, Kilkax ultimately decided to turn his left arm into a literal cannon. This earned him the nickname "The Firehand."

Personal history

The eldest son of the Ildun Family, Kilkax has always strived to live up to the name of his ancestors. The Ildun family has a long history of military service and heroism. Kilkax's Mother, Akra Ildun, was a renowned pirate hunter; she died fighting pirates when Kilkax was just a child. He was raised (and trained) by his father, aunts, and uncles. Kilkax always showed great fighting prowess. Whether it be in battle strategy or weapon training, the red-scaled Dragonborn was quite simply a prodigy. He was first in his class at Stanster's naval academy and trained at the Monastery of the Sacred Mountain in Bountland. He was made captain of his own ship at 18 years old, making him the youngest captain in the history of Stanster's illustrious navy. It was while captaining this very vessel that he lost his left arm, later having it replaced by an actual cannon. He would go on to command ever growing fleets before being made the Admiral of the entire Navy in 985 CA. Five years later he would be chosen to represent the military in Stanster's Chief Office.
