Walden Dimswart
Historian, Sage, Scholar
Known to most simply as Dimswart, he is a kind-hearted, elderly looking man who spends his days reading volumes from his extensive collection of books and scrolls. Dimswart is also a sage that specializes in local history, dragon lore and gemology. He and his family own a small estate and the surrounding apple orchards a few days inland of the sea of fallen stars and they enjoy the seclusion life outside of the small port town brings.
Dimswart is somewhat of a recluse, not venturing out much at his age, although he does employ a small staff to run errands to the nearby towns when the need arises. His estate features a well supplied stable where travelers can water and tie their horses for the evening, and a small guest house for those in need of lodging.
Walden is a member of Academia Andeiraea and in his younger years spent extensive time in the halls of learning, with a special focus on history. He has written many books and even tried his hand at cartography, although he lacked the artistic talent to make a true profession of it. He is logical, philosophical, and well-versed in a number of different subjects.
