Tholgari Highlands

The rolling hills of the Tholgari Highlands lay north of the Ebonclaw mountains, with the coast of the gulf of Kelnerion to the west.

Geography

The hills and valleys of the highlands stretch from the base of the mountains to the south reaching north until evening out into the planes. They form a sharp cliff along the gulf of Kelnerion that reaches all the way to the gulfs northern most point.

Fauna & Flora

Trees such as oak, birch and pine dot the green hills of Tholgari while plants such as bluebells, juniper bushes and primrose blanket the land. Mammals native to Tholgari include beavers, badgers, otters, vole, goats, gray wolves, moose, red dear, red fox, red squirrel, sheep, and highland cattle. Common birds include buzzards, gulls, golden eagles, greylag geese, crows, falcon, raven and white tailed eagles. Insects such as beetles, bumble bees, butterflies, moths and dragonflies are a common sight as well.

Natural Resources

There is plenty of wild game to be found in the more wooded areas of Tholgari. The dwarves that take up residence in the area mine gems and precious metals from the hills. They have also taken to keeping apiaries where they harvest honey for their world famous meed.
