The Cursebreakers
The Cursebreakers are a newly established organization, born out of the pressing need for a governing body in Verdant Haven. As the town sought a way to maintain its peaceful existence, the Cursebreakers emerged as the answer. This dedicated organization, founded by Rhubarb, a paladin of Tiamat, serves as the vigilant protectors of Verdant Haven's harmony, unity, and safety.
Structure
At the core of the Cursebreakers' leadership is Rhubarb, the organization's founder and visionary. Though the ultimate authority within the town rests with the Elder, Rhubarb's leadership is critical to the Cursebreakers' mission.
The Cursebreakers are divided into pillars that represent various facets of Verdant Haven's life, such as agriculture, commerce, spirituality, and more. Each pillar is headed by a dedicated officer who is responsible for reporting any potential threats to peace and harmony within their designated sphere.
The Cursebreakers also invest in the town's future by welcoming two cadets. These upstanding youth are being mentored to become full-fledged officers, learning the organization's values, traditions, and skills, while contributing their youthful perspective.
Culture
At the heart of the Cursebreakers' culture is a strong sense of unity and collaboration. Officers from various pillars work together seamlessly, recognizing the importance of collective effort. They believe that by combining their skills, knowledge, and experiences, they are better equipped to maintain peace and harmony. Vigilance is a core value within the Cursebreakers' culture. Officers maintain an ever-watchful eye on their respective spheres of influence, promptly identifying and addressing potential threats to peace and harmony. This commitment to vigilance is a constant reminder of their duty and purpose.
The Cursebreakers meet every 3 days. The Officers of The Cursebreakers are responsible for reporting any new potential sources of disharmony in their respective spheres of influence. Officer Marta is also responsible for service lunch for all members at the meetings. The two Cadets Elias and Kiera are responsible for running missives, general admin work and housekeeping for the meetings. These meetings are held at The Cursebreakers Headquarters situated in the old town hall.
