But I take no pride in my actual pride. In fact, I abandoned my fair land, where the gods are worshipped. I found all their worship, quite ridiculous. When I myself am quite fearful and extraordinary! Raised as a gladiator, I can defeat anyone, in anything.
I'm strong. I'm pretty handsome. I've got a glorious blonde mane and I love fighting!
I love fighting - if I wasn't a Paladin, I would have been a gladiator, but quite frankly, my skills are just too good...to waste.
Let me let you in on a secret friend, I can put my hands on stuff and make it heal! That feels like a big deal. Just saying that's my move. Also, (sniff sniff) I can smell evil as plain as a flower! That's why I don't pray to just anyone or anything.
Hieronroeous is the one and only god I am devoted to.
I find all the gods a little bit silly, quite frankly.
- "I am a great Paladin, named Lenny the Turbulent. Of course you have heard of me!"
- “It was not my sword but your wicked ways that brought you down… and then my sword.”
- “The gods will be watching this battle and I intend to give them a good show.”
- “Sometimes the gods need more than sermons and meek prayer. Sometimes they demand a violent and material manifestation of their will to set right the woes of this world—that’s where I come in.”
- “I don’t concern myself with what is law, only with what is right. The rules I follow were written a long time ago by the hands of the divine and do not change at the whims of petty men and their politics.”
- "You foul wretches shall not overtake me! I WALK WITH Heironeous!
- "Our worth will be measured by Heironeous in the amount of blood shed, both ours and theirs.
- "I smite thee in the name of Heironeous!"
- "Give Mercy To Those Who Deserve It, Smite All Who Do Not!"
- "Heironeous has deemed you unworthy - I am his sword hand, prepare to meet damnation."

"Really? Ah, well, of course you do! Who wouldn't want the daring Lenny by their side? The offer is tempting. Whoever defeats these cultist will have their names sung by bards for generations." "Lenny is not one to hesitate, adventurer! Not when a forest elf asks him to take a keep of Blackthorn Orcs and journey into the depths, and certainly not when that same one offers glory and fame!"
Lenny quotes in Tomb:
This place stinks of dust and death. Lets finish this and get out of here. Orcus is aware of our presence. we need to find the ring and leave this place. This place always makes me think of unfulfilled dreams. Endless echoes of past lives, countless books unwritten, countless songs unsung. I hope that when I finally come to rest here, it is at the end of a life well-lived. I can feel the presence of my ancestors here. I am burdened with a great responsibility to honor their sacrifice and uphold their legacy. Aye, Along with some of the most renowned Paladins who ever lived. We must tread carefully and with great respect.
