The HDP

The lands are split in half by the many land bridges that separate the Unfroar ocean, from Lake Grontak and the rest of the cities and towns in Central Verantron. Central Verantron is home to many institutions of magic and has had a war with many of the monsters that rule the secluded lands of the south in the past 10 years. Many of the chromatic dragons of the south wage attacks on the humanoid settlements. Their rage about their homes being taken by humans doesn't sit well with them. So, they strike back at ones who claim their land. That is how it started. The relationship, and differences of the north and the south: The Heragan Democratic Province is split into 2 regional areas, the north and the south. The south is a lot of open lands with many monstrous creatures roaming and living there. While the north is much more populated by humans. The North holds warmer climates with large cities profiting on the open waters with fishing and fresh water to drink. The south uses the cold, sometimes frozen fresh water and tundra like climates to hunt for wildlife to sustain the populace. In the north you will find large cities frequently, and sprawling kingdom like structures in some spots like Everivine and Yatar, and if you go west, you can find Archon's Ridge. In the south you will find many small towns scattered all over, but the south has the enormous city of Fostfara in their lands. it was the first city built by humanoid creatures.
