Session 6: The End of the Dusty Trail Report

The party had just defeated the skeleton minotaur and proceeded to take a long rest. Halfway through, they were joined by two new acquaintances. They finished the long rest without complaint and then woke up to explore the treasure room. All they actually found was a mimic. They decided to further explore the ruin that they found themselves in. They searched top to bottom, literally. They started with the third floor, and in the office they found a book about mythical creatures and a journal from the leader of the fort. The party learned about the capturing of a lamp, and the plan to bury the fort in the sand. At the second floor, they fought a pretty deadly snake, and found out more about the protections put in place to protect the artifact. They headed back down to the crypts, and fought the skeleton minotaur again. Then they searched the treasure room and managed to locate the hidden map.   They ventured back to the surface, and gave the map to Takarut. Then they negotiated with the bartender to keep the well a secret in exchange for a message to be sent to Hatta Kewab about a possible reward for fixing the well. They went to the general store, and they were generally disappointed by their stock. Meanwhile, Takarut agreed to give them a reward and planned to take the map back to his family to try and figure out the location of the artifact they were looking for.
