Session 2: Fyre Festival - Daytime Festivities Report

While the party was at the tavern getting their reward from the hatta, free drinks were passed out to everyone. After they enjoyed the alcohol, the party ventured out to enjoy the festivities. Kalissta won the archery contest, and they wandered around the festival for a bit after hearing about the upcoming pole contest. Once it was time, everyone decided to join in the competition.   Before long, the sleep spell was utilized again, and a crowd of the competitors went down. While none of the party was affected, the fallen bodies tripped up many of the other competitors including Leon. Leon was then trampled by the rest of the crowd as they rushed for the pole. The rest of the party reached the pole and began to attempt to climb it. After a series of sleep spells decimated the competition, and some of the party, Roisin won the competition.   After the competition, the party returned to the bar where the drinks were flowing freely. The party noticed their drinks being switched, and Leon was able to catch sight of the quickling who was causing the ruckus. Leon managed to capture the quickling, but it quickly escaped again. Meanwhile, Greb, Zyl, and Roisin were drinking with the caped satyr. Greb got very drunk, and was then escorted to their room upstairs to rest.   However, Greb had other plans. He decided to try and climb out the window to rejoin the party. Greb was clumsy, and instead of climbing down to the ground, he fell. Greb died on the streets as the rest of the party was either in the tavern or chasing the quickling through the festival.   Meanwhile, Roisin and Zyl were partying with the satyr. Zyl and the satyr had a small musical duel, and Roisin was challenged to steal the hatta's coin pouch. Roisin did so, but not before she emptied the money out of the coin purse. Surina saw the whole thing.   The demon inside of Greb took over control of his body, and he rejoined the party in the tavern. Shortly after, the party and the rest of the town headed to the fields to enjoy the field burning. Due to his death, the priest no longer believed that Greb was the prophet of Garyx. The fields would be burnt again. Even if that weren't the case, Greb now supported the field burning.   While the party was exploring the festival and chasing the quickling, they encountered large illusions such as a faerie dragon and a stampede of camels.
