The Great War of the Dragons

A war fought between the three Dragon Clans that has shaped the politics of the Shenlong to this very day.

In the year 9980 AoA. the Angels kidnapped the Blue Dragon Clan child known as Ao Pi. They used him as the basis for the creation of their newest biological weapon, the Dragons. Angered at this turn of events, the three Dragon Clans joined forces and fought against the Angels, eventually becoming a major asset in Freya's Rebellion.   In the year 1 MCE, the great sage Crutomist, alongside Emmanuel and Freya, founded the Magic Council. The Magic Council was to maintain peace around the world by being composed of the wisest and most powerful wizards in the world. Due to their invaluable assistance against the Angels, the Shenlong were granted a permanent seat in the Council.   However, the three clans disagreed on who deserved to sit on the council. Each wanted the privilege. This disagreement escalated onto claims of proper dominion over ShenLongGuo, thus starting a vendetta that eventually turned to war.   The war lasted 111 years, and ended only by 3 very specific events. First, in the year 89 MCE, the Blue Dragon Clan agreed to surrender their rights to political power over ShenLongGong, as well as divide their lands between the Red and Yellow Dragons, in exchange for exclusive rights to the seat on the Magic Council. Second, the Battle of Xing Tian Mountain provided the Red Dragon Clan a decisive advantage over the Yellow Dragons, decimating their defenses and causing them to abandon the mainland of ShenLongGuo. Thirdly, the diplomatic intervention of the Magic Council allowed the Red Dragons ownership of the mainland, while the Yellow Dragons were allowed to remain in power in the Hainan Archipelago.
