The gods exist in a realm outside of time. They are very detached to the matiral world. In truth, even they are not the true god or understanding. The physical realm is a school for mortal souls. Its is the gods job to both help the souls learn what they need to know throuhgh reincarnation of many lives and to hold them in the phyiscal realm till they are able to understand the truth of existance.
