Glintsprock (a.k.a. Sprock)

Ah, what can we say about Glintsprock. Like most goblins, Glintsprock is a master thief. Well, he thinks he is a master thief. In truth, he's "okay" at it. Over the years, he has managed to steal a few impressive objects and enough coins to buy a small country... but he has also lost a few impressive objects and probably even more money than he has stolen. For Glintsprock, stealing the thing is far more exciting than keeping the thing.   He can be seen as selfish, and often puts his needs before those of his friends, but this is goblin nature. This goblin nature led him to get his closest friend, a wotdafuq called Basalt Flyntwood, killed. Luckily this was somewhat temporary. (Read more about that in A Winternight's Reunion). In Venari, many people say that you should never trust a goblin, and Glintsprock is the poster child for this. He can't even trust himself. If there's something shiny, he wants it. Even if it's cursed. Even if it will land him in a dungeon he can't escape from.   Glintsprock may be driven by greed, but there is something likable about the little chap. While he is sneaky and untrustworthy, he is also oddly charming and entertaining (whether he actually means to be entertaining or not is another matter).   He sees life as a quest, where he has to collect as much treasure as possible. Other than amassing wealth, he has never really thought about what his goals are. In that respect, he is quite aimless and so just ends up where the next heist takes him. This all changes for Glintsprock due to the events of "The Gathering at the Gallows" (coming soon).

Family

"Family" is a confusing word to Glintsprock. He has parents, but doesn't know them and he doesn't really have a place to call home... so he wanders... and steals. Although he hasn't realised it yet (and would never admit to something so profound), Glintsprock is just looking for his place in the world.

Weird Habits

Glintsprock does his best thinking when he is biting his toenails. When asked about this, he often says it's something to do with the texture and flavour. The writer of this article refuses to comment further, and has just been a little bit sick in her mouth.

Magic

While he can't cast a spell to save his life, he does have goblin powers. These powers are shared by all goblins (unless they are really unfortunate) and include turning invisible and growing their clawlike nails on command (which is useful for picking locks and general violence).

Physical Description

General Physical Condition

Average build for a goblin. Relatively fit and healthy, aside from the pot belly which was his prize for overindulging in food, gnomish ale and goblin juice. Glintsprock regrets nothing, and often pats his little belly with pride.

Body Features

Glintsprock lost his right hand to Beefwehluhngtun .

Wealth & Financial state

While Glintsprock is quick to amass wealth (especially after a theft or con), he is also quick to lose it, either through reckless spending or literally putting the coinpurse down and forgetting where he put it.
