The Waking, 1 Toll

Signals the end of Mistfall and the start of the safe hours. The Lantern-Keepers extinguish unneeded lanterns at this time

Dusk Warning Bell

The First Toll, 3 Tolls

One hour before mistfall, reminding people to return home and secure their doors.

Final Bell

The Locking Bell, 5 Tolls

Five minutes before full mistfall, signifying the closing of gates and final lantern checks. After this, no-one is allowed outside.

The Dark Bell

Emergency Bell, 1 Deep Toll

Only rung if a Mistward Lantern fails, a ward collapses, or an intruder enters the town.
