The blood of the Divine flows through the earth, the god's carcass leaking its power into the soil and tainting the world. Since the death of Divinity, this divine blood has seeped across the land, warping the terrain, corrupting creatures, and transforming people wherever it touches.

The spawn of the blood rage across continents, emboldened by divine power and led by Vampires—former mortals utterly changed by the blood’s influence.

The Sanguine Host lashes out against the mortal races, ordinary people fighting to uphold their way of life and defend their kind, to return to the normalcy they once knew.

Yet, true Divinity is not entirely lost. The Veiled angels remain, carrying out an unknown mission across the world. Some theorize they seek to restore what was lost, while others believe they wander aimlessly, adrift without their master’s presence.
