The War of the Giants and Dragons Begins

The War than ends the Giant kingdom of Gaveheim begins and ends.

By the year 12010 ST, the Kingdom of Gaveheim had stretched to cover nearly every stretch of land allowed. The giants themselves had moved the structure of Gaveheim away from the central rulership that had existed while Annam All-Father ruled the The Ordning, into a semi-feudalistic kingdom wherein each of the strongest races of giant controlled a given continent, (Koria-Storm, Eltar -Frost, Ssashan-Fire, The Weeping Islands-Hill), with the Cloud Giants taking instead to the sky, building massive keeps among the clouds and hiding themselves away from the world, the Stone Giants having withdrawn into the deep places of the world. Gaveheim itself was used as the seat of rule for the entire kingdom, and was a place all could live under the rule of the Son of Annam, Skjaal. However, in The Cold Expanse to the north, a discovery made by a a group of dwarven slaves would change the fate of the giants forever, as the dragons were awoken and freed, and began their war against the giants for control of Vel'Kora.   The war that followed was one of the most bloody and destructive wars in the history of the sphere. The blood of giant and dragon alike soaked deeply into the oceans and lands. Most of the greatness of the giant's kingdom's were destroyed, their great works and items of magic ripped apart, torn to shards, or melted and burned to cinders. The dragon's were merciless in their rage, and for the first few centuries the giants stood as no opposition to them. Realizing they were outmatched, the giants began to create new creatures and species to use as fodder against the dragons. /it was during this time that the Behir, Trolls, Goliaths, and Roc, as well as many others came into being.
