The Federation has always had some kind of pushback against them which has grown quickly over the last 30 years. It was originally used for anyone that said anything negative but over time it's changed into if anyone says anything hateful towards them. They don’t have major issues with the other side if they are willing to listen and work together but it can get a bit heated at times.

No one really publicly states that they're part of it but after some attacked a large opposing campaign which got a lot of people injured and killed they've gotten a lot more judgment and harassment so most of them started to get a lot more secretive but some do still express their viewpoints publicly. The Federation charged the people who were involved in the attack and made a few laws to try to prevent that from happening again.

The Federation has a strained relationship with the group because they’re rather strict on wanting people to trust them but most are harmless so they haven't been able to do anything. They have tried to find a way to get rid of them a few times but failed. The closest call was 10 years ago when they tried to break up a protest and killed a few people but it caused them a bit of backlash from both sides. It stopped them for a little bit but they came back after the initial backlash died down.
