Ethereal Magic

Ethereal magic is sourced from other realms, usually alien to that of the user themselves. This allows magic users to better ignore the physical laws of their own setting. Because of its exotic nature, ethereal magic is often seen as sinister or unnatural. However, the source's alignment depends more on the user than the source itself.   That said, ethereal magic is not without dangers. Since it draws on a power pool from another realm with different rules, it can corrupt both the user and their surroundings, driving them to madness if not used carefully.   Ethereal magic is often associated with divination, teleportation, invisibility, and manipulation of time or space. Users tap into alien realms to access magical energies beyond conventional understanding. This can allow remarkable feats, but the power is difficult to master safely. With proper caution and training, mages can utilize ethereal magic to push the boundaries of the possible.
