Asphodel
Asphodel is the plane created for dead souls to rest until they choose to be reborn. It is in a sense a plane created for mortals. Gods fear this plane not for the sake of getting there, but rather because of the return journey. The flow of energy used to create this plane was crafted so that one can only travel back to the material plane after going to another plane called Memorium. The price of travel through Memorium is memory, which for an immortal being is perhaps the most precious thing it has. The realm is overseen by Rurashi, god of the dead.
History
The realm was originally created after the Primeval war as a place for mortal spirits to rest, it was designed to allow the dead soul peace from the trifles of immortal beings, any being, mortal or immortal must sacrifice all their memories to return to the material realm, because they must travel through memorium, hence immortals avoid Asphodel.
It was created by Espir, Kali and Rurashi.
