Camels are large beasts endemic to the deserts and dry places of the world. Possessing a fat pack that stores water for a very long time, camels can go seven to ten days without water, losing up to twenty five percent of their body weight in the process. The camel can carry up to two hundred and forty pounds, and drag up to five hundred.
