Pythia

The mythical half-gorgon oracle Pythia was one of the members of the legendary Heroes of Ithicus. After the destruction of the Starry Shrine during Jahar's Descent, Pythia founded the Temple of Seshra at the great tree Thelema alongside Erytheia Makrides.   The tree in the temple is known to be a child of the ancient and sacred olive tree Enorasi. Pythia is said to have planted the sapling herself, and she chose the name Thelema, "a thing willed," to remind all that dedicate themselves to the goddess of fate that no destiny can come to pass without the power of will behind it.   Pythia was greatly respected and loved as the High Priestess of Seshra, and her temple remains a safe haven for all who need one. Many of her students went on to become great teachers and philosophers.   The song Garden of Stars, by the troubadour Melíssa, depicts Pythia.
