Calefaction
For a spell that does very little damage, it's rather high on the difficulty scale. The spell is similar to radiate, though doesn't focus on the caster. It's good for disarming opponents or getting your lazy older brother to get his butt out of a hot spring. You know. Important things.
Effect
With a single look, heat up an item to scalding temperatures - or until it's warm enough to drink. Tea and hot chocolate, my friends. Much easier than using a fire.

The spell only works on inanimate objects. No sense in trying to boil your enemies from the inside, it won't work... there are other spells for that.
Additionally, it only works well on good conductors like metal and water. If one tried to use the spell on a rock, it would take a long time and a lot of magical energy to heat it.
