Overview
Valthor is the Mortal Realm at the heart of creation, where gods, mortals, and otherworldly beings intertwine in a delicate balance of power. Divided into four major kingdoms—Arailia, Vesyria, Bobocoz, and Mescryea—each realm is shaped by its people, cultures, and a shared history of conflict and cooperation. Magic flows through every aspect of life, binding the realms together yet threatening chaos when misused.
Geography and Kingdoms
Arailia
A kingdom of fertile lands, such as the quiet farmlands of Thane, and sprawling cities steeped in political intrigue. Once a bastion of unity, it now struggles under the tyranny of King Damon.
Vesyria
Known for its devotion to Hestina, the Sun Goddess, Vesyria is a land of grand architecture and deep spiritual roots. Its culture mirrors the grace and wisdom of its elven rulers.
Bobocoz
A lush jungle kingdom where orcs live in harmony with nature. Rich in magical flora and fauna, Bobocoz is a land of tribal traditions, now threatened by Arailian exploitation and deforestation.
Mescryea
A land shrouded in mystery, where powerful witches and alchemists dwell. Mescryea has a long history of resistance against Vesyrian and Arailian influence.
Magic Systems
Magic in Valthor stems from three main sources:
Natural Magic
The most accessible and widely used, drawn from the world’s essence. Mortals and beings from Valthor often tap into this energy for practical and arcane purposes.
Realm Magic
Unique to the beings of other realms, this magic reflects the nature of its origin. For instance, the dragons of the Fire Realm wield destructive life-fire, while dream magic emanates from Somnithar.
Obelisk Magic
Ancient and dangerous, this power is tied to the Obelisks—pillars of forgotten creation scattered across Valthor. Forbidden and poorly understood, it offers great power at the cost of corruption and chaos.

The Stygian Realm
A crumbling plane of greed and corruption, reflecting the chaos of unchecked ambition. Dragons of the Fire Realm fiercely oppose its influence.
Somnithar
The ethereal domain of dreams and nightmares, ruled by Menodora. Here, mortals are offered self-reflection and growth through living visions.
