Loodachris stumbles on a Drow plot and melds his thoughts with a local scroll scribe.
The group decided that their best course of action was to sneak into the house and take the boy so he couldn’t disappear during the day. Eiyo and Graak attempted to climb through the window, but both made noise which drew the attention of the boy’s mother, Mary. She attacked Eiyo with a rolling pin but was quickly disarmed. The party decided that they would bring Gar Jordan here and hoped he would find a safe place for the boy to transform during the full moon. Graak and Loodachris went to the last place they had seen Gar – the tavern – and immediately began drinking. The barkeep told them that the best place to find Gar would be the Arvensor, the 400 foot watch tower that sits alongside the cliff that separates the noble district from the slums. After finding Gar they brought him back to the slums where he comforted Mary Wilbur and promised her he would help her son. He told the party he would lock Leo up for the remainder of the full moon, and for as long as it took to find a solution. The Party separated once more to run errands. Eiyo & Graak Eiyo visited Vinder, whose shop looked exactly the same as his Sandpoint location, to the most minute detail. Eiyo purchased the perfect tea set from him, as well as a pouch of flayleaf. She soon met up with Graak and the pair explored the lower parts of the city, travelling to the area underneath the Giant’s Causeway known as Underbridge or the Shadow District. They visited Calistra’s Kiss, a gambling house and fighting pit in the Shadow District that is owned and operated by Nev, a small leatherfaced man. They entered themselves into the draft for unarmed combat as a duo and faced off against a pair of boxers. They were victorious and got huge applause from the crowd and chants of “Grik” after the announcer mispronounced their names. With their winnings secured Nev invited them to return any time to enter more combats. Afterwards, Graak decided he wanted to climb the Cleft and returned to Vinder’s to purchase a climber’s kit, which Vinder had behind the counter. Graak and Eiyo also requested that Vinder look into ordering them some magic items. Gregory Greg travels to vinder and buys some acid bolts, vinder offers to sell a scroll of teleport. He then goes to shining anvil hearing about Graak and Eiyo fight on the way. Doesn’t buy anything. Loodachris Loodachris visited the Secret Parchment to purchase new scrolls. Whilst there he showed the proprietor, Charlotte Elonil, the strange coin the party had found on the road to Langdale. Elonil immediately panicked, locked the store and found a weapon. She cast a telepathy spell and told Loodachris that the coin was a Drow house coin that is used by the Great Houses to buy and sell slaves. She told Loodachris that her father was a Drow and that she had left at a young age, but the Matriarch of her house had taken her tongue so she couldn’t tell people their secrets. After telling Loodachris that if the Drow were in the city, they could have spies everywhere, Loodachris asked if there was a way to extend the range of the telepathy spell so they could communicate if needed. Elonil told him that she could make their connection permanent and Loodachris agreed. The two merged their minds and memories and can now communicate across the material plane. Badaar Spent the day being fitted for new armour. The party returned to the King’s House tavern to meet up, then travelled to the Lodge and met Captain Price. He gave them a room for the night.
