The Party slay the Vampire which has been plaguing Sandpoint.

The Party wake in the brothel the morning after to a scream. The run into the end room and find Marcelin Ernst’s body with two bite marks in her neck. The party were told to wait in the tavern by Belor who was angry that he had paid for a dead vampire. Whilst in the tavern the players receive a note from a courier with a secret message telling them to be at Maddocs at midnight. They check on Maddoc then travel with Altes to the temple of the Knights of Mercy. They solve the riddle and open the secret door to reveal Simi and 4 skeleton champions. During the combat Loodachris and Graak are bitten by the vampire. Eventually, Gregory is able to stake Simi and kill her. After she dies, a ghostly knight emerges from one of the tombs and introduces itself as Ulfric, captain of the Knights of Mercy. He thanks Gregory for freeing his brothers from the Vampire’s control and offers him the chance to become a Knight of Mercy. Greg accepts and is given Mercy’s Blade, a magical long sword with the oath of the knights written along the fuller. The party return to the town with Simi’s body, return it to Belor, then burn Marcy’s body to stop her rising whilst smoking some of Vinder’s special powder. Belor returns again and tells them the mayor wants to see them. Mayor Kendra Deverin asks them to uncover a terrorist plot in Sandpoint. The party visits Ven Vinder again but he seems to be truthful when he tells them that he likes the Mayor. The party return to the tavern for the night and are woken to the sound of explosions and screaming as Goblins attack the town screaming “Vengence for Buurg, avenge our leader.”
