Soul Realm

The Soul Realm is a dimensional plane where the souls of all deceased creatures go upon death. Most creatures quickly "move on" from the soul realm to a higher plane of existence, but there are those who remain in the Soul Realm in the hopes that they will be able to return to the material plane - either through resurrection, or by possessing a living creature. Recently, the Soul Realm has been taken over by the demon, Parax, who is using his minions to prevent any souls from moving on from the Soul Realm.
