Volu

born in a small settlement just north-east of the Druthain wood to a pair of human parents Volu was born a tiefling. the cause of his tiefling herratige is unknown but caused strife to his family. due to this he was kept out of public view by his family whenever possible as a baby. while growing up he did not understand why his parrentls kept him from going into town without them but dident think much of it. he was a well natured kind soul and had not an ill will in his heart.   as he grew older it became harder to keep the fact that he was a tiefling a secret from the rest of the village. when he was 6 years old the rest of the village became aware of the fact that he was a tiefling. once this happened the rest of the village changed how they treated him and started to treat him with distain as if he were a curse upon the village for something his family had done. despite this he still treated anyone who would interact with him with kindness and dident resent them for it. he remained in the village for a few more years untill the rest of the villagers contemp for him gew too much as he could see how it was affecting his parents.   at the age of 10 he fled into the Druthain Wood to attempt to live his life in solitude away from the society that scorned him and his family. sadly he was ill prepaired to do so and ended up in a dire situation near death.   lost and starving in the wood he was on the verge of death when an arch fey revealed themselves to him. having observed his kindness and lack of mallace despite his treatment by the villagers and his tiefling blood the arch fey greeted him and made him a proposition. the fey offered volu his patronage in exchange that he not hide in the wods but go forth and use his kindness to help those in need make the lives of the downtrodden better.   after this he began traveling and venturing into towns and meeting many people helping those who needed it. however due to his past and how he and his family were treated by the villagers, he decided to hide the fact that he is a tiefling. he does so by dying his hair black, keeping his tail tucked inside of his clothes and wearing a hat that hides his horns which are luckily not particularly large.
