Hera the Chronicler

Hera is a Rosegold dragon, who origin came about from the crossing of Red and Gold Dragon bloodlines. She was born into an order of Gold Dragons who were pioneers of science, specifically the celestial sky. The order of Gold Dragons had made a tenuous peace with the local Red Dragons to use their lands, specifically an incredibly tall mountain upon which they built an observatory. Hera tended away from celestial studies, and instead was enamored by history. She ventured out from her birthplace and travelled the world, both in her dragon and humanoid forms, collecting the memories of other dragons, as well as humanoids both noble and common. She recorded the memories of entire lives within her magical tome, the pages of which glow with the colors of sunset. This tome is titled "Growth & Decay".   In the 3rd Epoch, the Logicmasters came to the region, eradicating Red and Gold Dragons alike in their Great Purge. Hera sought to survive this purge, so that the histories she had collected would not be destroyed. She hid herself deep underground, and petrified her body. She left the knowledge of how to resurrect her with local Sorcerers, hoping that they would survive the purge, and when the time was right, would resurrect her back into a better world.   With the help of some adventurers, the Sorcerers managed to complete this resurrection, and Hera returned to the world. Much of what happened following her resurrection is a mystery to the world, but some believe she played a hand in bringing about The Miracle. She now lives in Meridian. She is not a part of the Logicmasters, though she often works along side them, and played a part in the writing of the Accords Arcanum. She is strongly tied to the Scholars Guild, often though of as the true leader of the guild, though she only acts to assist the actual administrators of the guild.
