Zinku

An apprentice scholar working for the Ravenmight Institute, this goblin lady is truthful to a fault. She is a bit of a contradiction, as she cherishes the tall tales from her tribe, yet seeks truth and facts inside folklore. To her, both versions are important, the embellished stories told by many that change throughout the generations, and the dry emotionless facts of the events that inspired said tales. Each poem, each song, each fairytale is an inspiration and the smoke that hides a flame.   Zinku first got into contact with the Ravenmight Institute when a group of scholars visited her village. We suspect this included Lady Ruby-Eyed, as Zinku now serves her as acolyte. She currently is eagerly gathering stories related to the valley, recently having gone and interviewed some noble families that had ancestors originating from the valley.

Skills

Physical
Zinku takes poorly to the signature head scarves and masks that the Ravenmight scholars and apprentices wear. Sure, she wears them, but she wears them poorly so they do a pretty lousy job at concealing her identity. She also often bounces to places without a scholar to accompany her, circumstances under which she is not allowed to conceal her identity. As she is still an acolyte, she is yet to earn her scholar tattoo so cannot operate under her own authority.
Mental
To Zinku, the truth is everything. She finds political secrets to be a nuisance, as they too often get in the way of discovering the true origin of history. Though she doesn't mistake truthfulness for bluntness, understanding full well how to politely phrase things without personal attacks. This preference did somewhat cause her to clash with the scholars, as they worry she may find their personal secrets a problem. However, she assured them that privacy and covering up history are two different acts.
