Willow Child

A champion of nature and member of the Wooden Shields, Willow Child is a root leshy who appears to gain her divine abilities from nature itself. Her origins are somewhat vague but she has proven herself a fervent believer in freedom, loving the old country and striving to protect its people. Her steed is a riding drake, which makes for an intimidating sight in combat. She oft strides forth with bells attached to its antlers-shaped horns, warning all that she is coming. Willow Child talks easily, but superficially. She never speaks about her origins, neither her druid nor her place of creation. There are times that she knows more than she should, or faster than even the fastest courier manages to deliver a message. How, she will not say. She is an enigma that dances away when you try to solve her. Despite her mystery, she is still a trusted member of the Wooden Shields.

Despite being a member of the Wooden Shields, she and her mount both wear heavy armour. She wields a bastard sword and shield. All her armour is decorated with plant engravements and vows to protect nature. Each year, she adds an extra engravement, layering them to represent the stacking of her vows.

All that know her, can confirm she is a true believer. She is truly loyal and believes in the good of all folk, while also wanting to keep nature safe. But at the same time, she hides her true self. Attempts to grasp her personality or origins, glance off her like an attack on her armour. She acts rather than just speak, and that is all we can get.
