Gharol

A grumpy alchemist who would make for an excellent teacher, if it wasn't for her poor bedside manners. Yet her skills are excellent, and she is always trying to discover new ways to improve her potions. Many an alchemist has sought her out for her formulas, but she refuses to let people just copy those. Instead, they must follow along as she shows them how to make the potions instead, while lashing out at any mistakes she considers too obvious to make.   Do not expect a kind word when you come to her, or get hired by her. Her tongue is as sharp as a fresh blade, including those of the scythes she always keeps at her side. She will acknowledge good behavior as much as bad, but has no patience for fools.

Skills

Physical
Normally Gharol wears a hood that mostly conceals her face. If asked why, she will tell you it's to add to the mystique. Her clothes cover almost all of her skin, protecting her against her brews while also covering her countless tattoos. The only one properly visible is the torch that reaches up her neck to her right cheek.   She wears hide armor and always carries her scythes with her, to collect plants. In a contingency, they work quite well at defending herself in a situation where her brews do not suffice.
Mental
Her tongue and mind are both sharp. Blunt and critical, to the point of not seeming to care. Through her origins, she appears used to violence and can take care of herself, but also shows no particular care about whether any patients are significantly injured.   On one hand she does seem to enjoy teaching people, on the other her foul mouth and tongue lashings tend to chase any possible apprentice away. Even then, they do admit they learned things from her, though they do not consider returning for more.
