Queen Dana II
Queen Dana Feywild (a.k.a. The Chaste)
Queen Dana II is the current Queen of The Kingdom of Nerevarn. She was the second child of the late King Velebor II but took the throne upon her father's death due to the unpopularity of her elder sister Princess Sara with both the people and the religious authorities.
At the age of 17, then-Princess Dana swore an oath of celibacy in a sacred pact with Dianecht, the principal god of Nerevarn and semi-officical (in the case of some monarchs fully official) patron deity of The Royal House of Nerevarn. In return he is said to have blessed her with wisdom beyond her years, and she served on her father's royal council from her late teens until her ascension to the throne upon his death. While this wisdom and commitment has undoubtedly been of service to the realm, her oath has inevitably also had the effect of leaving her without an heir, as she has had no children. The current officially named successor is her next sibling Prince Henry.
