"It's so much easier to see the world in black and white. Gray? I don't know what to do with gray." - Unknown
Created by the goddess Vaka and gifted to Ergeaux Lyon, The Oracle of Illusion on the eve of her demise. Imbued with the essence of the universe itself, it is said that the sword's blade is capable of cutting through solid Mythril. Chicanery

This sword changes form depending on how it's wielded. By default, the blade appears to be a small, black-bladed dagger with a dull golden hilt, bearing a large diamond at the end of the grip. Upon flipping the weapon in the air and uttering the command word, it magically transforms into it's true form: a thin black bladed rapier, with runes finely engraved along the shining golden cross-guard.

"Death can have me when it earns me." -Unknown
Created by the goddess Vaka and gifted to Ergeaux Lyon, The Oracle of Illusion on the eve of her demise at his hands. Imbued with the essence of the universe itself, it is said that the sword's blade is capable of cutting through the very fabric of reality. Known by some as the Godslayer Greatsword, this weapon has seen battles great and terrible. Exalted during the infamous battle known as Sunfall, it weighs heavy with the lives taken by it's blade. One of the legendary Artifacts of Vaka.

Chicanery

This magical weapon adds +3 to all attack and damage rolls. When attacking with this weapon, you add both your Strength and Dexterity modifiers to the attack and damage rolls. Deals 4d4 slashing in dagger form, 4d8 slashing in rapier form, and 4d12 slashing in greatsword form.

Godslayer

Deals an additional 1d10 Pure damage per successive attack made against the same target. When you make a successful attack, add your Constitution bonus to the damage total as additional force damage. This also stacks per successive attack. Additionally, this weapon bypasses all resistances, immunities, and absorption effects.
For example, let's say you have a Proficiency Bonus of +6, Strength Bonus of +4, a Dexterity Bonus of +2, and a Constitution Bonus of +5. In this example, you make four attacks against a single enemy over one turn with the Greatsword form of this weapon. The damage would be as follows:
  • Attack One: (4d12 + 3 + 4 + 2 magical slashing damage) + (1d10 + 5)
  • Attack Two: (4d12 + 3 + 4 + 2 magical slashing damage) + (2d10 + 10)
  • Attack Three: (4d12 + 3 + 4 + 2 magical slashing damage) + (3d10 + 15)
  • Attack Four: (4d12 + 3 + 4 + 2 magical slashing damage) + (4d10 + 20)
  • Unending Reign

Once per short rest, 1/2 of all damage dealt in a single turn is granted to the user as temporary hit points (temporary hit points don't stack).

    Fallen King's Blade

This weapon has the thrown property, with a range of 30/90ft. As a free action, the user can recall the sword to their hand. By expending 10ft of movement, the user may teleport to the sword as a free action, regardless of its location (as long as it's on the same plane as the user). Additionally, this weapon has 10 charges. As a reaction, expend a charge to evade an incoming attack by teleporting to an unoccupied space within 60ft of you. Regain all expended charges by completing a long rest.

    Armor of Creation

While attuned to this item, the wielder gains one Legendary Resistance that they can use at will. Expended Resistance regenerates after a long rest.

    Artifact of Vaka

Enables casting of spells greater than 9th level.

    Hidden Ascendant Ability - Heartstrike

When you miss an attack roll, you may choose to hit instead a number of times equal to your proficiency bonus per long rest. This attack is always a critical hit. Alternatively, you may choose to make an attack that hits a target a critical hit.
*Ascendant or the Oracle of the End

    History

Created on the eve of her demise by the Creator Goddess of Wild Magic, Vaka. Gifted to Ergeaux Lyon, The Oracle of Illusion. The only Artifact to have only been wielded by one person, Ergeaux has been the sword's lone wielder for nearly 2000 years. Seemingly having slight sentience, it refuses to attack if anyone else tries to use it without the Oracle of Illusion's consent, teleporting itself back onto Ergeaux's hip instead.
Dubbed the "Godkiller Greatsword" after the Sundering, Ergeaux has felled countless combatants with this blade, including mortals, gods, and Oracles; he has never been defeated in a one on one engagement. It's transformative properties and high damage make it ideal for covert operations, allowing it to be easily hidden in a coat sleeve or pant leg. Flipping the sword isn't required to transform it, despite popular belief. Ergeaux just likes to show off.   This sword changes form depending on how it's wielded. By default, the blade appears to be a small, black-bladed dagger with a golden hilt, bearing a large diamond at the end of the grip. Upon uttering the command word, it magically transforms into it's true Sword form. When used one-handed, it takes the form of a thin black bladed rapier, with runes finely engraved along the shining golden cross-guard. When used two-handed, the blade grows into it's full size greatsword form; a void-like mass of metal nearly seven feet long and one-and-a-half feet wide, edged in luminescent gold with glowing white runes etching the edges of the blade as the hilt becomes encrusted in gems of every color.
