Sailing the high seas, his ship is nearly myth as it is seen so rarely. Joined by Heimdall, Oathkeeper , and the toughest and most seasoned pirates of all time, his crew is legendary for their exploits during the Dark Age of Valakadyn, where Aegir led them to ransack many towns on the Sandalphorian Coast. As the years past, his thirst for gold and blood waned, and he turned his crew to providing aid to any ships in danger of sinking at sea.
It is said that in your time of mortal peril at sea, if you call upon the Ocean's Judge, a deep fog rolls in, and the massive Krakensbane ship magically appears, whisking the would-be shipwrecked to safety.
Originally a member of the Betrayer Gods, Aegir abandoned the rest of them shortly before the death of Vaka, which he attempted to stop. Now living amongst the mortals, he attempts to follow Vaka's final wish to protect mortalkind with his ship and his crew, The Jury.
"So Stevanas saw Gjallarhorn and made a bet with Heimdall that he could create the same thing. Heimdall balked, saying that intelligence alone doesn't make up for raw power, and so Stevanas returned to Newbiggin and built Trick Question in less than a day. Heimdall lost the bet, and was forced to trot about the city nude, getting jeers from mortals the whole way. Heimdall later paid back Stevanas in kind by stealing Trick Question, creating a hogtie, and leaving Stevanas on Norður while Vaka and Mystra almost died of laughter." -Aegir, Ocean's Judge
