Alchemy, Tam Bor, Ta Methib, 59th, 3607, Wet

INTRODUCTION
Alchemy is magic involving chemistry, magic, and sometimes luck. It involves taking potion recipes and making potions as those recipes command. However, it is not just recipes, you also need to have a staff known as a Mixing Wand. Mixing Wands are often hard to come by, and so take an effort to get. Alchemy is so intricate that it would be difficult to explain in one article. However, this article can write down some of the key components in most recipes. As well as include some recipes as examples.
SUBMAGICS
There are five types of potion submagics or strains. The first is Fortitude Magic, which focuses on protecting whoever drinks it. The second is Destructive Magic, which often results in and wants fires or explosions. The third is Extermination Magic, which is utilized to kill people or things. The fourth is Shifting Magic, which is focused on transforming the drinker into different organisms. The fifth is Healing Magic, which focuses on healing the wounds of the drinker.
RECIPES
Every recipe has two factors to it, the temperature, processing, and the ingredients. The temperature is very simple, the cooking apparatus, which can be anything, must be a certain temperature or temperature range. Otherwise, you will not get a potion. The processing of potions has four known ways to do so. The first is stirring in a pot of some sort, this is where you simply use your Mixing Wand and stirring the pot. The second is straining to get rid of all solids in a potion. This is the most common of the three. The third is freezing the mixture and leaving it frozen for some amount of time. The fourth is smashing ingredients in a mortar and pestle. This is the rarest of the three, as freezing potions requires access to iced water and a sealing apparatus. The other factor, the ingredients, all depends on the recipe. Potions in different classes have different sorts of ingredients. Fortitude Magic will often use bones or shells in their potions. Destructive Magic often uses mosses or other plants. Extermination Magic uses poisonous ingredients such as newt or blowfish. Healing Magic requires healing herbs of some kind in almost every recipe. Shifting Magic is special yet simple. Potions that utilize shifting magic are simply the blood or product of an organism infused with a mixture known as shifting brew. That recipe looks as so:
SHIFTING BREW - SHIFTING
Ingredients :
3 leaves
3 parts blood or sap of an organism.
3 tufts of fur
1 flask of 3 parts water
1 gallon of near-frozen water
an insulating material that will keep something cool
Process: 1. Put leaves and fur in the flask of water.
2. Put the flask in the water and freeze overnight, insulated.
3. After being frozen overnight, defrost the water and take out.
4. Let the blood or sap of an organism dissolve into the brew.

A list of potion recipes, one or two examples from each submagic except for Shifting Magic:

3 pounds of elephant ivory
1 Dozen Rose Thorns
1 Empty Flask

3. Let sit for 10 minutes, and scoop into an empty flask, pl a cork in the top to preserve.

Effect:

1, 1 Part, piece of lepidolite
3 Parts of moss

HISTORY
The history of Alchemy starts in Adunai, where the ancestors of the Flowermen learned that lepidolite and water together were explosive the hard way. These ancestors then took this and put it in a water skin with moss separating the two. Slowly but surely Alchemy became more commonplace. Merchants even spread it to the Monsoon Shore. In Adunai, as intrigue has become more prevalent, the submagics of Extermination Magic and Shifting Magic are more common than the others. In Vamor, the knights of The Knightly Order of Alchemy uses Healing Magic, Fortitude Magic, and Destructive Magic. In Mormai, the soldiers use Shifting Magic, Destructive Magic, and Extermination Magic to either torture captives or to kill their opponents.
