A vile cult, the Vulgani, devastated the kingdom of Totowirre. After a year of warfare they were driven out and disbanded.
A brutal campaign of the
Vulgani cult brought the Totowirre kingdom to its knees. They killed the elderly and sick and forced everyone else into their cult. They started by attacking the kingdoms defenses. They killed three dragons, the eldest sons and daughter of Pharanox, by surprise. This coordinated event proved that the empire was not prepared for internal warfare.
After a year of war Pharanox and his armies reclaimed the territory and since then improved internal defenses. The Vulgari symbol is a stone pillar with hooks on it. Instead of destroying that which caused such hardship Pharanox ordered it to be decorated with flora, a garden now surrounds the stone pillar in the capital of
Totowirre. It serves as a reminder of those past horrors, but also that it was overcome. In the end the destruction of the Vulgani was not answered with destruction but with life.
