Session 8 “Baker Davies ”

Upon reaching sector 7 the group composed of Aalik, Estel and Arwel travell to the Academy branch of the PARC up in sector 7 looking for a way to set free the spirit inside the teddy bear they found in the crypts.  

Full Summary

  As the group leaves the train station each carrying a luggage of their own and 3 that belong to Stell each, they meet a young human wearing a uniform that somewhat resembles that of the musseum with the main distinction that this one has been tailored to weather the cold of the sector. The Academy representative tells the group that in order to reach the Academy in the first place they must take motor sleds up an unmarked trail by a fair distance as well as intructing them to always carry what looks to be a blue ish flamed torch with them at all times as long as they are outside     As they go further north they see in their peripherals glowing balls who seem to vanish into the air as they come in contact with the blueish light. Once in the Academy the group finds Director Kana, a nebula genasi that at first does not notice their presence as they step into a broken down chappel where she sits in front of a piano too focused on playing a melody to see the strangers at the doorstep.     With the tune completed, Kana gives Aalik and Arwel a tour of the facilities explaining how the main goal of the Academy branch is the studies of the paranormal, spiritual and Arcane especially regarding potential life outside of the material plane. Tha academy also employ ghosts of those with a need to share their knowledge as teachers, the source of this ghost seems to be unclear and once they feel fulfilled they cross over, for the main goal of Kana is to help those souls adrift in the material plane although she seems to really wonder where they all end up.   While the tour is going on, Estel goes outside to play in the snow with the Ghost of baker davies, After switching to hide and seek Estell finds the spirit of the boy in the broken down chappel where the spirit says he feels his grandma calling from somewhere and after a tune plays, Aalik and Arwel find Estel in in tears out in the snow holding a now motionless teddy bear having helped the spirit of Baker Davies leave the teddy bear.
