Session 22: Have you seen her?

The gang find a crumpled up note detailing deliveries and pickups for some of the bars in the area set for that night that could be related to the missing people.  

Full summary

  Arriving via car thanks to Haku, Aalik nearly runs over Estell who is standing in the middle of the highway. Finally joining the group and using his detective skills, the gang find a crumpled up note detailing deliveries and pickups for some of the bars in the area set for that night.     With this newfound clue the gang sets off to the bars to scout them out for any suspicious activity, two of them they rule out since they are a part of the Alban mafia and serve as drug and arm dealers. Another bar is ruled out due to the fact that the missing persons are doing more harm than good to the business as a lot of them are regular customers.     Now that only one bar remains on the suspect list they arrive at “the 11 Royal” a fancy looking bar attended by an elf by the name Hazel Mae who they immediately target as suspicious only because of her rude demeanor and decide of regardless who the culprit is, they will stake out this bar at the time the note says.     That night during some group discussion about the mission they come to the conclusion that it is the Gal0ds who are kidnapping the civilians given the lack of evidence and overall group frustration over the matter. To relax they turn on the tv to a program Zay heard about called “Extra especial” where they are humored by silly conspiracy theories the public regards as potentially true which consist of things they tend to see on a daily basis although Aalik does write their contact down just in case it might help.     Bored out of their mind waiting for the time set in the delivery note, the group decides to use two of the scrying spells Kanna gave them: The first they use to spy on Violet where the screen showed her laying in a big pile of money throwing around what seemed to be a Neizve doll while talking about her sister and complicated relationship to a deep disembodied voice offscreen that after a bit notices someone spying on them and dispels the scrying.     The second scroll was used to spy on Tonio Buratti who they caught in the middle of a conference call with someone, given that Aalik can read lips, he acts as an interpreter and they soon discover that in this call Tonio is talking to a manager of some sort who is congratulating him about a job well done recovering the information about team 33 during the moonstone auction. This appears to have landed Tonio in a favorable position in the suspicious group’s ranking.     Arriving mere minutes before the note said they arrive just in time to see Hazel and a mysterious looking figure talking in the loading dock of the bar as trucks begin to be filled with civilians.     As a truck drives away, driven by the mysterious figure, the group decides it’s time to do something. Deciding to take the stealthy approach but somewhat failing at it they are discovered and Aalik, Estell, Lucas and Zay begin fighting the grunts led by Hazel Mae.     After getting their ass handed to them thanks to Estell’s mind altering poses, Zay’s and Lucas’s devastatingly dangerous spells and Aalik’s brand new necrotic colossus infused arm, Hazel decides to cut her losses and attempts to escape on the truck holding the civilians but is stopped by a critically injured Estell who climbs into the truck and summons a cloud of daggers on the driver seat nearly killing Hazel. As a last ditch effort, Hazel holds up a charm that teleports her too far for the now on the verge of dying Estell to follow her not before she swears a vendetta towards him.     With the battle over and only a broken arm and injured knee as their toll, the group sets the civilians free and triumphantly return to the museum bearing good news. Once back at the office, Team 33 is told that they received notice that the girl targeted by the serial killer, Oriel, has been attacked and is now in the ICU of the sector 7 general hospital.
