Session 2 “The boundless Vale”

During a company retreat a group of office workers sets out to climb the mountain range located in sector 6. after reaching a camping spot the group splits up as a blizzard takes hold of the mountains.  

Full summary

  As a small but fun team building retreat, a group of office workers go on a trip to the mountains of sector 6 where they plan on having a weekend of fun, adventure and teamwork. As they arrive to the camp they are greeted by camp master Vincent who is to escort them to the summit and be there in case of emergency.   The group sets off in the direction indicated by the signs untlil they arrive at their first climbing session were omens of things to come begin to show ther heads as one of the coworkers that seemed to be dressed more for the beach and not for a mountain, falls a distance and ends up spraining his knee but due to the fact  that turning back would seem more difficult than pushing forward, they all just carry on up.   Arriving at the first rest point, Vincent shares a tale with the group about how a family seemingly vanished into thin air leaving all of their equipment behind which is now used as a landmark of the way up as well that sometimes when the night is rough with air the singing of a little girl can be heard. Exploring more of the area, a couple of the office workers accidentally fall into a cave where they find the camera belonging to said family from the story.   As they set up camp for the night they asre surprised as the air suddenly seems to turn and a blizzard begins to form. Scared for their lives they all call it quits and begin to climb down the mountain, All except Vincent and a young triton by the name of Lucas who seem to be under a trance and have a sudden need to reach the summit essentially making a race out of it.     As quickly as they can, the office workers that climbed down begin to fall into misfortune as the weather worsens and one by one begin to be riddled with injuries. It all comes to an end for them as in a desperate attempt to slow down Vincent, Lucas grabs a pistol and shoots him in the leg causing an avalanche that ends the life of his coworkers as they are crushed under the snow.   Even then his efforts end up being fruitless as Vincent reaches the summit first where a giant flash of light and a roar render Lucas unconscious having accidentally made contact with a colossus. Later on Lucas is aided by a rescue team who send im to the ICU in sector 6, there he notices his sudden ability to control electricity and thunder, searching for a way to get his powers under control as well asfinding out more about that creature at the summit he contacts the PARC where he now sits inside a waiting room next to a blue skinned tiefling
