  With the intention to continue his research into the colossi, Neizve sends team 33 looking for an old artifact Mr Douvri told him about. The artifact in question is the amber staff, that it is said allows the user some partial communication with beasts and it in theory should work on the colossi. After inquiring with some auction houses the last owner of the staff is found, a millionaire philanthropist obsessed in exotic animals who owned an island far west from sector 13 that was ravaged by a typhoon some years back. Interestingly that was also the last known place Dr Hannah law was seen alive by the public, she was said to have perished in said typhoon.     Arriving on the island via a helicopter supplied by Kanna’s sister, the gang begins to investigate the mysterious island, finding the staff at the bottom of a pit near a skeleton. By lowering Estell into the pit with a fragile looking rope, he takes notice that the corpse is surrounded by lizard looking creatures who fail to notice him even after the staff is removed.     After recovering the artifact and not wanting to waste the trip to the island, the group investigates the compound and finds out there has been recent human activity given the fresh trail marks and the imprints of new wheels on the road. Looking further into the area they find what looks to be blood vials which C takes to hand over to neizve to analyze.     After returning home the gang finds out the island has been bought by a private company all of the sudden.
