Session 17 “A cat paradise”

The PARC is granted an audience by the street cat royalty

  The day is drawing to a close. Lucas, Galod2 and Estel decide to investigate the robotic apparition that came to them a few hours back and upon further inspection and aided by the improved sight granted by the moonstone necklace, the group manages to locate boot prints and fingerprints that do not seem to resemble Gal0d2’s at all since they appear to be Organic. As dawn strikes.      The group arrives at the train platform where they must say goodbye to Oriel as it looks like her free time is up. Still fearing for her safety they each give her a piece of advice: “It’s better to run than being killed” says Estel as they teach Oriel how to defend herself with her taser. Estel also makes a note of Oriel’s pen in order to use the spell Locate Object if the need arises “Use your intelligence to your advantage and hide as soon as you can” says Lucas “Do not trust strangers or sketchy looking people and call for help if you are able” says Zay “Let me teach you some quick stuff” says Gal0d as they teach her a self defence move “Here is Kana’s phone number call her, not me” says Aalik And after a few hugs and quick prayers for good luck, the group says goodbye to Oriel and sector 1 as they soon travel to sector 5 to bring the necklace to Argos.     Upon arriving at Sector 5 the group quickly realizes morale is at an all time low as the aftermath of Argos’s panic begins to settle. Unfortunately for him though the group spares no detail as they report on the mission's result including that they think that radio celebrity and reporter, Tonio Buratti might be the one behind the blackout and the data breach or at least somehow connected. After hearing them out, Argos hands an envelope with 300gp to everyone in the group except for Lucas as he broke his cardinal rule of not involving civilians and although he does understand his concern it is still a broken rule that he can not let slide. After having a bit of downtime, Zay and Aalik take an opportunity to ask Argos for the battery needed for the rocket and after a short trip to his personal vault he hands it over to Zay as well as the moonstone necklace telling them to hand it over to Kana and see if she can replicate the enchantment. Taken by curiosity both Zay and Aalik decide to snoop around the vault where they are surprised to meet the ominous entity that lives in another dimension but before the entity can do anything meaningful, it is interrupted by a white street cat who takes Zay and Aalik to a weird makeshift town populated only by cats.     Since they do not speak cat they are VERY confused when the cat authority of a cat priest and lord Big Cat assign them as ambassadors and instructs them to bring forth their leader in order to strike up a deal or so is interpreted by their local ranger, C-7qxI. Dragging a very tired and confused Argos to the makeshift town, the PARC is granted the ability to fast travel to important locations as long as a cat tower is erected and a fancy feast is provided.     Once this long and confusing day draws to a close, Zay retires to her quarters where she is informed that she has been moved to another address only to discover that her and Gal0d2 are now officially part of team 33. With a small celebration underway a knock is heard at the door where the group find the same ominous entity this time wearing a different skin. The entity invites them over so they can “behold the pest that the gal0ds have become” this the group discover that the Gal0ds are multiplying by fusing body parts of humanoids trapped in the strange dimension with screens and computers after watching one of these procedures happen right before their eyes. Mezdhu then hands them a usb that it says could end the problem before it gets out of hand.
