TWILIGHT - Beshbeshremmir

SHE who has dominion over the peace of the night, safety in the darkness and uninterrupted sleep.

The Highly Divine Beshbeshremmir, One with the Weave, True God of Twilight (a.k.a. Walks in the Moonlight, Hush)

It was a lazy temple. Small and air-laden with incense. It was not a place to rush. It was a place for quiet contemplation and relaxation. Two priests, their robes embroidered with the stars of the nigh sky, napped by the altar, where the air was heaviest.

Beshbeshremmir, True God of Twilight, is the patron deity of sleep, dreams, recuperation and the moons. SHE is usually worshipped by the tabaxi as Walks in the Moonlight, where SHE is portrayed as a leonine humanoid who never sleeps.

Artifacts

Beshbeshremmir is known for HER bag, Dustduffel, which produces many different substances. The most notable is a powder that allows the user to step into the dreams of the sleeping person it is applied to.

In addition to this, Walks in the Moonlight is often depicted holding a hooked scepter made out of softly glowing stars.

Divine Symbols & Sigils

A closed eye is the most common symbol used to represent the various aspects of Beshbeshremmir. It may be placed over a moon or star in certain regions of the world.

Personal history

The origin of Beshbeshremmir - and HER original race - is lost to myth. While most commonly worshipped as a tabaxi deity, Beshbeshremmir appears in ancient accounts in forms predating Walks in the Moonlight. It is thought that SHE may have originated as a fey creature, possibly a sprite.
