Nemia

The continent of Nemia is a land of conflict and contrast. To the west lies the nation of Haldor, where the people value strength and martial prowess above all else. The nations origin was that of a powerful warlord who united the tribes and clans of the treacherous mountainy terrain under his banner, and he saught to conquer all those that oppose him. The people of Haldor are fierce warriors, skilled in the use of all manner of weapons, and they are not to be trifled with. Today they have grown to a strong nation that can no longer be viewed as united tribes.   The east of Nemia lies the elven nation of Eryndor. The elves of Eryndor are a proud and ancient people, who have lived in the deep forests longer then any can remember. They have a deep respect for the natural world and are skilled in the use of magic, both for protection and for the enhancement of their lives. The nation of Eryndor is a beautiful and enchanting place, where the trees are tall and the rivers run clear. The elves of Eryndor are wary of outsiders, and those who venture into their land uninvited do so at their peril.   In the middle of Nemia lies a vast expanse of wilderness, filled with dangerous creatures, hidden treasures, and battlefields. Adventurers who seek their fortunes in this untamed land must be skilled in combat and survival, for the dangers are many and the rewards are great.   The people of Nemia are a diverse mix of cultures and races, and there is much tension and conflict between the nations of the land. Some seek to conquer, while others seek to live in peace. Only time will tell what the fate of Nemia will be.
