The Old District

I hope that we'll be able to spot some ghosts over here. The buildings look really old.

  The Old District is, like the name implies, the oldest district in the town of Urskoga. This is the original town and looks pretty much like it did back when the town was founded in 1801.   The district has a couple of old Mom-and-pop stores, the Church, several wells, the City Hall, a small park, a public square still used as a marketplace, a tower, and several old residential buildings. This district used to be larger but a fire in 1981 destroyed several buildings at the edge of the district and they were rebuilt in a modern fashion. Some people think that these buildings still belong to the Old District while the majority say that these buildings now belong to the newer districts. Specifically the Downtown area.  

Locations

The district sits in the southeast part of the town close to the Urvattna river that runs next to the town.   The Church sits in the south of the district, close to the "new" downtown area and the buildings that burned down around 40 years ago. Above the church is the public square that houses the marketplace with food and trinket stalls and a couple of times a year fairs and festivals. In the north, on the opposite side of the public square from the Church, sits the Town Hall.   In the middle of the district lies the small park. In this park sits the largest well in town while several smaller wells are spread all over the Old District.   In the northern part of the district sits a large tower. It's been locked and boarded up for as long as it's been there and nobody knows what has been or am being used for. Or at least if somebody knows they are not speaking about it.
