The Crimson Circle
Structure
The Crimson Circle generally has no hierarchy other than its leader, Vael Dwo, and his forgemaster, Dyatlov. The cult is like a loudly vocal minority, so all concerns go directly to the leaders of the cult.
Culture
Because the Crimson Circle is a subset of the Church of Isyn, they share a lot of the same core beliefs. As such, the Crimson Circle believes in senseless murder and vile indulgences. This extends specifically to the vampires who follow the Crimson Witch; the specific condition of their core beliefs is that vampires should be free to roam the night and kill as much as they wish without the sanctions of Count Krolock.
Mythology & Lore
(Taken from the Vampire article) 5000 years before the current day, there was once a mortal queen known as Queen Carmilla. During the Urinian Feudal period, she was a cruel woman who exploited her serfs by torturing them, killing them, bathing in their blood to preserve her youth, and paying their families mere copper pieces whenever they completed work and exported crops. As punishment for her misdeeds, the goddess Akaris descended upon her and cursed Queen Carmilla to roam the material plane for eternity with deep, insatiable hunger for human blood.
500 years before the current day, Count Krolock alongside the ancestors of Laurent and Fenrir defeated Carmilla in battle and split her consciousness into the three Daggers of the Crimson Witch. Her body rests deep underground.
10 years ago, when Vael Dwo discovered one of the Queen's daggers, his personality changed and he declared himself the prophet. He markets himself as the "prophet of Isyn" and claims that he hears Isyn's voice.
Tenets of Faith
The only tenet to the Crimson Circle is that there are no tenets. The faithful are guided by senseless murder in the name of themselves, the prophet Vael Dwo, and their queen.
Ethics
The crimson circle does not follow any ethical code. In the vampiric world, the members of the Crimson Circle are seen as barbaric and senseless even by the standards of a people who feed on other people.
