Session 12: The Fall Festival and Chateau's Dilemna written by Jeran

Session 12: The Festival Arc Begins! -

Professor Wen and Chateau have a little chat, Chateau gets a letter from her sick sister, and Wen gives some dead wife backstory. Liir asks Millie to gather all the students and teachers so they can talk about the festival. Alighieri breaks the news that they have no funding for the festival, and are in need of entertainment. He proposes a battle of the bands, saying the fake competition will promote sales. The party divides into groups. However, Muffinpaws stands divided, and he ponders his orb about the issue. The Paws uses minor illusion to become a cowboy, spins some guns, and then leaves the room. Professor Wen proposes gambling and betting on the students’ performances, but Liir is a bit of a wet blanket and says no. Nikola makes some Hats of Disguise, and some disguise shenanigans occur. Nikola says pog. Some performers fucked up bad, and accidentally created some very large ants, which the party engages. The ants are dispatched and Alighieri polymorphs into Dwayne the rock johnson (actually a roc but the DM forgot not everyone knows what a roc is). The girls begin to practice for their dance group and are interrupted by Chateau’s father and brother, who are disapproving of her activities. Chateau learns that her sister is in the marketplace and goes to make sure she isn’t causing any trouble, and gets distracted on the way and buys a whistle for Costco before she finds her. Chateau and her sister talk about the more sus Latours, and Mirabelle’s condition. Chateau and her sister go to find Cat and Millie with Geoffrey. Cat, Millie, and Chateau have a strange conversation about Cat and Chateau’s brother and the concept of dating. Cyrille’s sibling comes to visit and is PISSED about the current living situation with the Krolocks. Nikola finishes some more Hats of Disguise for Wyrd and Azaloth.
