The Valkyrie are a female only species, meaning there are no male Valkyrie. They choose their mates from other species. They search for the one that is worthy and stay with them till death. If the partner were to die before them, then they will not choose another. They will stay by the side of their chosen, even if they are not biologically combatable. Some may search for their partner for their entire life and not find them. If a creature is chosen by a Valkyrie then they are also seen as family by others. No matter the race of the partner, the child is always a Valkyrie. Usually the criteria for the choice is strength. This is not limited to physical strength or magical might.Age
