Knockers like to blend in to any city or village that has other small races. Their favorites are places where halflings live. The reason for this is that no one ever blames or suspects a Halfling in doing anything harmful or Ill willed.  

Build

They are small folk reaching only the height of 3-4 ft or so. Their weight rarely exceeds that of 50 pounds.  

Appearance

Knockers look like a mix of Gnomes and Goblins. Their skin is light gray and their ears are large and pointy. Knockers don't grow hair. They have long hooked noses.  

Hated With Passion

Knockers are natural pranksters and con artists. That instinct has incurred the wrath of many victims. A Knocker never intends to do anything severe but there are none that can control chaos.

Distant Whispers

You know how to make your voice appear to come from another place. You can choose another place to speak from that you can see within 15 feet. A creature that hears the voice can use an action to make an Intelligence (Investigation) ability check against a DC of 8 + prof bonus + Intelligence mod. On a success the creature knows the real origin of the voice.  

Born Tricksters

You know the minor illusion, thaumaturgy and Control Flames Cantrips and intelligence is your casting ability for them.  

Plan B

When you reach 3rd level, you can cast the Disguise Self and Misty Step spells once using this trait. You regain the use of the spells after a long rest. When you reach 5th level, you can cast the Major Image spell once using this trait. You regain the use of the spells after a long rest. Intelligence is you casting ability for these spells.
