18. Treasure Room

A short hallway leads to a square room. On a raised platform on the southern wall, there are 3 identical chests. There is nothing else in this room.

This room is a test of the party's greed. There is nothing to keep them from claiming the items in all 3 chests. Each chest has a common, uncommon and rare item in it. Thus, they are all about the same value. Which is most useful to the party is the luck of the draw.

Chest 1

• Boots of False Tracks
• Wind Fan
• Wings of Flying

Chest 2

• Feather Token
• Potion of Water Breathing
• Ring of Free Action

Chest 3

• Medal of Muscle
• Keoghtom's Ointment
• Ioun Stone of Supreme Intellect

  They will receive a point for each chest that they choose to leave unopened. They do not get the point if they open the chest and then decide not to claim the treasure. Keep track of the party's score as they go along. At the completion of each challenge, their score will be announced by the ringing of a bell for each point they have earned.
