With the discovery and study of cellular chemistry in masurodo 8618, and devokhondria in 8709, what was once a philosophical assumption about one's heritage with respect to the urodevoi, was now otherwise confirmed by science.

This confirmation crystallised the latent inequity concerns into violent class division, which rapidly destabilised uroikos, ending in war. For eighteen masurodi, kshetreai sampurnam (the classical term for uroikos) waged bloody war with itself—the Tauromakhy—and was forever changed.

The Tauromakhy came to an end in masurodo 9135, when Taurananda MInos and his tauraih army seized control of Damapolis, and established the rule of the Minos oikog.

These are degenerate times. For almost nine centuries, the uroi have lived uneasily under the rule of the Minos dynasty. The governments of Ur have been weakened by sustained corruption and neglect, and the resultant civil unrest has spurred the deteriorating commonwealth.

Already beset with corruption, inequity, and famine, the uroi are plagued with a strange disease: pyrobionema. The talented chemist in-control of the disease, the claims to have developed a cure, but only for some. For many of the infected, there is only death; but for the uroi chosen by Asuron, it presents an extraordinary opportunity.

Rebellion is on the horizon.

What will be the catalyst? The pyrobionema epidemic? The on-going famine? Or the cult of fanatics at the centre of it all?
