Tampa DMZ

The Tampa DMZ is on the outskirts of the city district, staffed by pairs of gangland team members representing the multiple factions that inhabit and coexist in the city. The DMZ was built in the year following the end of the war. It was constructed by the military as a gateway into Tampa, as the rest of the habitation zone was walled off with 10-metre-high concrete slabs. The DMZ is on the city's south side and marks the divide between No Mans Land and the safe zone within. The DMZ is staffed with United Earth military peacekeepers and district leadership and is where all new Tampites are processed before being relocated into one of the Tampa districts.
